Filter doesn't auto-refresh to show recurring subtaks (even when setting enabled)

Todolist 7.2, Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:

In preferences, un-check "Consider tasks whose subtasks are all complete to also be complete".

Leave the "auto-filter on edit" preference setting on.

In the options filter, un-check the option to "Show all subtasks".

Create a main task, give it a due date, set it to recur weekly, reusing same task when complete.

Create a subtask under that main task.

First mark the subtask, then the main task complete.

--

Observed behavior:

The main task will regenerate as expected, but it will *not* immediately show its subtask as also having been regenerated under it too, and no '+' sign appears next to the main task to indicate that is expandable. Hitting Ctrl-F5 or using the menu option to refresh the filter will cause the '+' sign to appear.

Expected behavior:

The '+' sign should appear immediately beside the parent task to show that it contains subtasks, without needing a manual filter-refresh to show it.

Note that if "Show all subtasks" is checked under the options-filter, then everything works fine and the subtasks show up immediately. But without that option selected, a manual filter refresh is needed to show the "plus" sign indicating the existence of subtasks after regeneration.

Hi Otto

Because the setup instructions are quite involved, it would lessen the burden on me if you could attach a copy of ".\Resources\Examples\Introduction.tdl" which has been modified to match your bug report together with your preferences (ini) file and a screenshot...

Thanks
